Tilt-shifting

Tilt-shifting is when you edit real life scenes to make them look like miniature scale models. You can do it yourself with photos by using this website (Tilt-shift Maker) which I have yet to try it but it's definitely on my to do list... Maybe this little video can lend some inspiration in the meantime :)

Mini Mittens

This was a fun project- little things always seem to have an appeal. Probably because they're just so downright cute! And when done in funky colors, these mittens don't need to deck the halls just at christmas time. They can easily be part of your year-round decor!

The knitting pattern is pretty straightforward with three different mini sizes, and pictures to keep it simplified. These mittens were strung along some coiled black wire and hung on the wall for a brilliant decoration. For the pattern click here.

Fourteen Cowl

Two new patterns have been added to the site! The first one is the "Fourteen" button cowl created by John Brinegar. It's a great, easy project that hardly takes any time to make! It's done in Brioche Rib which gives it that great chunky texture. The Hook Book

I've been meaning to organize my crochet hooks for quite some time, and then I came across this great pattern by Priscilla Hewitt.

Her design only holds ten hooks, so I decided to add two extra pockets. It does a great job of holding even my smallest hooks!

A super easy project- I finished it in one evening. Now I just have to make something for all my knitting needles.... Enjoy!
